Welcome to Twin Lakes Riding Club. Established on November 1, 1961, Twin Lakes Riding Club is the oldest active riding club in the Northern California.
What is Twin Lakes Riding Club?
TLRC is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to stimulate interest in horses and horsemanship as well as to foster and conduct activities pertaining to horses.
What activities are offered?
TLRC offers Western, English and Gymkhana horse shows, monthly trail rides, overnight campouts with your horse, family play days, parades, potlucks and other fun for members! As a member, you will also be able to attend the annual Christmas dinner dance, members only functions as well as the benefits of discounted entry fees for all shows during the year.
How do I become a member?
Any interested person over the age of 18, and all married persons regardless of age can become a member.
1. Submit an application to the Welcoming Chairperson stating intention of joining.
2. Attend three (3) business meetings within a six (6) month period after submission of application.
3. Submit, to the club treasurer, the $20.00 initiation fee and dues to the end of the year. Annual dues are $36.00 (which include yourself, spouse and children within your household).
4. Acceptance, by secret ballot, by two-thirds (2/3) of the voting membership present.
5. Notification by mail regarding acceptance, membership effective on the first (1st) of the month following notification. Applicants not accepted will receive a refund of the initiation fee and dues by return mail.
6. Children of active members may request continuance of their membership by submitting an application to the Welcoming Chairperson and following the same procedures as new members in 3,4 and 5. No initiation fee requested
